PORCELAIN MUSHROOMS

I’m long used to getting strange looks when photographing woodland, especially when I’m lying on the floor shooting images of wildflowers. However, when someone asks what you’re looking at in the tree canopy, try explaining you’re photographing mushrooms……

These delicate fungi grow in the branches of beech trees and often appear immediately after rain. Once you know what you’re looking for they’re easy to find.
